What a nice and heartwarming goodbye to your old pal. As someone who loves PCs and building them I know how infrequently one lets go of them, and the mix of weird excitement and sadness when you have to start the process of passing everything from your old system to your new one. I recently built a new PC for myself too, thankfully before the ram prices exploded, but I still miss my old one and its much more functional windows 10.
They really do record so much of our journey through forgotten files and folders. Hopefully you'll make new good memories with your new PC, and hopefully it'll last you a long time.
Loved the way you went through how this computer was the way so many of your games got finished- it does feel like a deeply intimate relationship when you work for hours with a machine and it deserves a proper send off. The shader and the guitar set a great melancholic atmosphere and the pauses between lines of the eulogy gave it the proper pacing for it to be clear this was respectful to an old friend.
This was so sweet, I think I sometimes callously think of my machine as just a tool but your perspective (being so saturated in sentimentality) is really striking to me. A computer as a midwife, a partner, a lover. A machine with scars, it’s beautiful. T^T

That was indeed very sweet. I love how the apostrophes fit so neatly in between u’s and n’s. Thank you for sharing that journey with us.
Your guitar playing on this was rad. Unbelievable considering how new you are to this instrument!
Incredibly sweet eulogy. Been thinking a lot about my relationship with my computer so this hit pretty close to home.
You are such a special person <3 really someone who lives out the term "shining personality".
