Vibin' Lizard Snack Bar

Welcome to the Vibin' Lizard Snack Bar, your very own snack bar where you serve your scaly customers with everything they crave: Food and warmth. But the economy isn't the best right now, so you'll need to split your electricity between preparing food not giving your customers hypothermia.

Installation

To play the game, you need both the exe and pck files. Extract them into the same directory and run the exe, that's all, but the exe on its own won't do anything.

How to Play

You have three stations to prepare food with, a sandwich maker, a grill and a blender for smoothies.

Customers will show up and tell you which item they want prepared in which way. You prepare their food by putting the raw ingredient into the appropriate station, wait until it's fully prepared (but don't overcook it) and then collect it. Click "serve" on a customer and if you have the correct dish in your inventory, it will be delivered to their table.

Next to each station are buttons to regulate the amount of energy going to your appliances and your customers. You can see how much energy is being distributed by the flaming indicators next to the tables and stations.

Keep your customers warm and don't leave them waiting for too long, or they will leave and you won't get your tips.

You goal is to make it 10 days as a barista, with days 5 and 10 marking the days where your landlord collects rent.

About

Vibin' Lizard Snack Bar was made within a 48-hour timeframe for the 2021 GMTK Gamejam, under the theme of "Joined Together". In total, 28 hours went into making this game and all non-audio assets were created specifically for it.

- Sometimes the notifications will start bugging out and leave spaces in between them, but I put a bandaid on it so it is only limited to the current day.
